Why Choose Pellets?

There are many reasons to choose pellets as your primary or secondary heating source. These include lower ash production, higher efficiency, and being more environmentally friendly. Here are a few good reasons in no particular order:

1. Lower Ash Content: When you burn wood in a regular fireplace or wood stove there is a large amount of ash left. This is because a normal piece of wood cannot burn completely due to the moisture, chemicals, dirt, and other various substances contained within it. With pellets, only pure wood is used and then condensed, leaving a very high efficiency pellet.
2. Environment: Pellets are normally recycled from used or otherwise useless wood. This is a great way for us to recycle wood and save more trees.
