Pellet Appliance Chimney Configurations

Venting Type I

Pellet Venting is available in many different installations and options. All pellet stoves are forced draft, eliminating the need to rely on chimney draft for operation. The pellet venting system should, however, enable natural draft in the event of combustion blower stoppage (ie power outage). It is important to design the venting properly to avoid smoke spillage into the home. Joints should be sealed to prevent flue gases from leaking.
